Versailles Custom Parquet
Oak · Wire-brushed matte · Bespoke geometry
The historic Versailles panel — first laid at the Château de Versailles in 1684 to replace marble that was buckling from the daily mopping-out of the palace — recut for modern engineered construction. Each pre-assembled 900 mm panel comprises hand-fitted oak segments in a woven diamond geometry.

Care & maintenance
How this floor ages well.
- 01Vacuum weekly with soft-brush attachment or micro-fibre mop dry.
- 02Damp-mop with a pH-neutral timber cleaner every 2–4 weeks — never wet-mop or use vinegar/ammonia.
- 03Wipe spills within 60 seconds — timber tolerates moisture briefly, not standing water.
- 04Re-oil high-traffic areas every 3–5 years to refresh matte finish.
- 05Sand & recoat the whole floor once every 15–25 years — engineered floors accept 2–3 sandings.
